Forget Blizzard! They Have Forgotten About Us.

I own pretty much every Blizzard game with the exception of MMORPG titles, however I have lost faith in Blizzard Entertainment. They obviously are a shop which doesn't listen to their developers. Any coder knows that defeating DRM is trivial.

Read the following:

"we felt that moving away from LAN play and directing players to our upgraded Battle.net service was the best option to ensure a quality multiplayer experience with StarCraft II and safeguard against piracy."

So, they are trying to reduce piracy. This game will be cracked. So, the only people you are really screwing over is your paying customers. The pirates will still get the game for free. Bioware realized this long ago. Blizzard wake up, or you will loose your devoted fan base. Then you save your game from all the pirates you want, but you can't get back a pissed off fan. Like me. Even if you do release LAN play, I'm gone. Fuck off.

I have to agree. I´m a Blizzard fan, and bought to myself many blizzard games. As a matter of fact I even bought some as a gift!!!
The games are awesome, and we join almost every weekend to play at someone´s house. and Eveone has an original copy of the game!!!
well... we´re all going to wait for a cracked game now...
Really Blizzard, this is a big disrespect on us. It´s very naive on you to think that this game will not be cracked. Even softwares that use Hard Keys like Autocad are cracked down... and... well, if you get a way to make your games "uncrackables", I´m a user that wont play the game until you release LAN suport.
Sorry my english.
