The Blizzard Theme Park Contest was announced on February 25, 2009 as an opportunity for SC fans to get a hold of a StarCraft II beta key.

Blizzard is giving fans the opportunity to design their very own Blizzard theme park! Fans can choose to design an all-encompassing Diablo/Warcraft/StarCraft theme park, or choose an individual game to focus on, including eating areas, rides, shopping areas, shows, and whatever other attractions make sense. See the prize list at the bottom of this page to see what you could win!

Submission requirements are pretty open, and designs may be submitted in the form of park maps, game screenshots, or whatever else comes to mind.

Contest ends March 30, 2009 and all designs must be submitted by that date. Winners will be chosen based on:

• Creativity
• Artistic technique (style, medium, etc)
• How reflective the park is of the Blizzard community and games

Winners will be announced at BlizzCon 2009, held on August 21 and 22 in Anaheim, California.
