BlizzCon 2009 will be held August 21 and 22 in Anaheim, CA.
Blizzard Entertainment has been holding (almost) year conventions since 2005 to celebrate their most popular franchises - including StarCraft. Spanning two days, BlizzCon includes previews of upcoming releases, Q&As with developers, social activities for Blizzard fans, and hands-on gameplay for fans to experience new, upcoming, or current games.

BlizzCon 2009
- Date announced: Friday, August 21 and Saturday, August 22
- WIll be held in same location as past BlizzCons: Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California
- Will include gameplay opportunities for upcoming Bilzzard games
- Panels with developers
- Game tournaments
- Silent auction
- Commemorative Blizzard merch
